Tandem Global (formerly the World Environment Center), a global non-profit advancing sustainable development through business engagement and collaboration, recently announced that it appointed Of Counsel Claire Schachter (Washington, DC) to its Board of Directors.

Claire succeeds Principal Lauren Hopkins (Seattle), who previously served on the Board, most recently as Secretary. Principal Paul Hagen (Washington, DC) also previously served on the Board.

In Tandem Global’s press release, CEO Margaret O’Gorman commented that the new board members' “diverse perspectives and expertise will strengthen our ability to deliver on our mission.”

A co-leader of B&D’s ESG, Sustainability practice, Claire helps clients manage legal and business risks and develop opportunities related to sustainability, with a focus on climate and human rights regulations and standards in the U.S. and internationally.
