DENVER (August 20, 2024) – Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Counsel Stephanie Thien Vu and Associate Richard William-Kay Dowell to the firm’s Denver office. Vu joins the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group.

DENVER (August 20, 2024) – Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Counsel Stephanie Thien Vu and Associate Richard William-Kay Dowell to the firm's Denver office. Vu joins the firm's Intellectual Property practice group and Dowell joins the Business Transactions practice group. Their arrivals further strengthen our ability to provide comprehensive legal solutions to our energy clients.

Vu brings a wealth of experience in intellectual property law to the firm. Her expertise in patent prosecution, licensing and portfolio management will be invaluable to clients building comprehensive intellectual property strategies. She joins Lathrop GPM from a Denver-area law firm focused on intellectual property matters.

Dowell is a seasoned energy lawyer with a deep understanding of the industry's legal and business challenges. He prepares drilling and division order title opinions and assists clients in all phases of oil and gas development. He joins Lathrop GPM from a boutique law firm where his practice focused on transactional matters.

Vu earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2016 and her B.S. from Rice University in 2011. Dowell earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2016 and his B.S.B.A. in International Business from the University of Denver in 2013.
