Lindsay Harrison, Managing Partner of Jenner's DC office, recently sat down with theWashington Business Journalto discuss her experience leading high-profile cases. Lindsay also discussed her path at the firm—from working onLawrence v. Texasas a summer associate to leading the DC office and Real Estate and Hospitality Litigation Practice.
When asked about how the legal system has changed in the past 20 years, Lindsay said, "The number of cases that go to trial has gone down and people are much more likely to settle cases or arbitrate them privately. That changes our role as lawyers a little bit within the law firm space. The biggest changes have really been in the last four years, with remote work during the pandemic. It changed the way that people work together on cases and created challenges in terms of training younger lawyers and mentoring them."
