Foley Hoag Attorney Alyssa Pratt Named To 2023 National Black Lawyers 40 Under 40 List

For the second consecutive year, Foley Hoag LLP associate Alyssa Pratt has been selected for inclusion by the National Black Lawyers (NBL) into the organization's 2023 Top 40 Under 40 Black Lawyers in Massachusetts. Membership in this exclusive organization is by invitation only and is limited to the top 40 attorneys under the age of 40 in each state who have demonstrated excellence and have achieved outstanding results in their careers.

Pratt is an associate in Foley Hoag's Taxation Practice Group and Private Funds Practice Group. Her practice focuses on fund formation, tax planning, tax advocacy and regulatory compliance. Pratt has experience representing a wide range of clients including non-profit organizations, investment advisers and private investment funds. Pratt also represents clients in IRS audits and in obtaining tax rulings from various tax authorities.

The NBL is one of very few preeminent organizations in the United States established to promote the nation's top Black attorneys and is designed to enhance the professional development of its members. The Top 40 Under 40 recognition was "created to celebrate legal excellence by promoting attorneys as subject-matter experts and to develop a strong national network of top African American attorneys."
