The National Bank of Ukraine has made public a detailed description of the appearance of the new currency means of protection which include a water mark, protection strip, relief elements, alignment picture, rainbow printing, anti-scanner grid, coded images, a microtext, signs for the blind and visible protection fibres.
Unofficially, the level of protection against forgery is being likened to that of the Deutsch Mark.
