Taft welcomes Sam Gillen as an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property practice group. He counsels clients on a wide variety of intellectual property-related matters.
Prior to joining Taft, Gillen served as a law clerk for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General in the Asset Recovery and Bankruptcy Litigation Section. During this time, he researched issues pertaining to Chapters 7 and 11 bankruptcy, insurance law, Medicaid, secured transactions, and fraud.
Sam earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
