amendments to the abuse of dominance provisions of the
Competition Act made earlier this year, co-hosted by the
American Bar Association Antitrust Section's Unilateral Conduct
Committee and the Canadian Bar Association Competition Law and
Foreign Investment Section's Reviewable Practices/Unilateral
Conduct Committee.
The panel will discuss these amendments, the potential
additional forthcoming amendments and how Canada's laws on the
abuse of dominance compare to U.S. laws relating to monopolization
and attempted monopolization.
