Charlotte Breuvart, a partner in Jones Day's Antitrust & Competition Law Practice, was recognized as one of W@Competition's "Shining Stars" in the Brussels Bubble – Private Practice portion of its "Five Star Women Competition Professionals" survey. The survey's finalists are elected by their peers to celebrate the professionals whose work has inspired them.

Ms. Breuvart, who is resident in Jones Day's Brussels Office, focuses her practice on European, French, and Belgian antitrust and competition law. She has 20 years of experience advising on cartels, abuses of dominance, merger control, and State aid (both in counseling and litigation). In 2012, Ms. Breuvart contributed to obtaining the largest ever fine reduction granted by the European courts in an antitrust case.

Ms. Breuvart regularly advises French, Belgian, and international companies in a wide range of industries, with a specific focus on the energy sector, where she also delivers regulatory advice.

She has been involved in several high-profile antitrust and State aid cases before the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the European Union, as well as in major M&A transactions involving multijurisdictional merger filings. She has participated in several leniency applications and commitments procedures (at the EU and national levels) and implemented learning and compliance programs in antitrust and competition law. In addition, Ms. Breuvart regularly advises companies on general EU legislation (including freedoms of movement).
