Colin Ng & Partners LLP (CNP) promoted Ms Winnie Chang as a Partner, Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunications, on 1 October 2012.
Ms Chang has more than a decade of experience in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice areas in the UK and Asia. She has represented large multinational companies based in the US, Europe and Asia, on a wide range of TMT-related commercial, corporate and regulatory matters.
Based in Singapore, Ms Chang leads a regional TMT practice focusing on key markets throughout Asia. She has an excellent reputation for her commercial approach and depth of knowledge of the international TMT sector.
Ms Chang has particular expertise and experience in the following areas:
- TMT transactions, including complex telecommunications services transactions, system integration agreements and crossborder media content supply arrangements;
- IT and business process outsourcing and procurement transactions;
- Telecommunications, data protection, cloud computing, encryption export and ecommerce regulatory matters;
- Intellectual property licensing transactions and advisory matters; and
- Corporate transactions, including M&A, joint venture and investment deals.
Ms Chang is qualified to practise law in England and Wales, Singapore and Malaysia. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay.
