International law and professional services group Cains today announces its intention to relocate its Isle of Man head office to the landmark Fort Anne building in the capital Douglas. It is expected that the move will take place in Autumn 2010.

The move will see Cains Advocates, Cains Fiduciaries and Cains Accounting Services consolidated into one location as part of the group’s strategy for integration and expansion of its client services.

In particular, Cains Fiduciaries has expanded its administrative services for institutional, corporate and family office clients rapidly in 2010 and taken on a significant number of additional administrative and accountancy staff to meet increased client demand.

The move to Fort Anne will relocate Cains corporate, litigation, property, private client and fiduciary practices into one building, enabling them to work more closely together in the provision of client services.

Cains clients will benefit from quick and easy access to the airport from Fort Anne, which is located on Douglas Head with spectacular views over the harbour and bay. Those visiting the Isle of Man for AGMs and other meetings will also be able use the building’s state of the art boardroom and accommodation facilities.

Andrew Corlett, Managing Director, Cains, said:

"By bringing all our practice areas under one roof at Fort Anne we are combining our resources to offer our clients a seamless, high quality, professional service, as well as use of the best client facilities of any office in the Isle of Man."

"We have seen an uplift in client instructions since the start of the year and anticipate a good year for growth in key areas. As confidence and interest return to the world’s capital and commercial markets, our move will help us to provide best in class legal and fiduciary services from the Isle of Man to our international client base and continue to act as a key conduit to capital and advice via the world’s financial centres, including London and Singapore where we also have offices."
