On 2 March 2026, BASF announced the successful completion of the transaction. The transaction comprises the international business, including the production of optical brightening agents at the Monthey site in Switzerland.

On 2 March 2026, BASF announced the successful completion of the transaction. The transaction comprises the international business, including the production of optical brightening agents at the Monthey site in Switzerland. As part of the sale, around 80 employees will transfer to Catexel.
