Fleur O’Driscoll, Partner in our Cayman Islands office, will be speaking at Hong Kong Arbitration Week 2025, one of the premier international arbitration events in the Asia-Pacific region.
The week of events, taking place from 20 to 24 October 2025, brings together leading litigation and arbitration practitioners, academics, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest developments and emerging trends in international dispute resolution.
Asset Recovery Panel Discussion on 23 October 2025
Fleur will participate in a panel discussion on asset tracing and recovery on 23 October hosted by Hui Zhong law firm (汇仲律师事务所) which is ranked a Band 1 firm for PRC Dispute Resolution (Greater China Region Guide 2025: China) by Chambers & Partners.
Asset tracing and recovery has become an increasingly prominent topic in Asia in recent years, driven by the growing complexity of cross-border transactions, the rise in international arbitration awards requiring enforcement, and heightened regulatory scrutiny across the region. Enhanced anti-money laundering frameworks, stricter beneficial ownership disclosure requirements, and increased cooperation between regulators have made asset recovery both more challenging and more critical for creditors and judgment holders seeking to enforce their rights.
Fleur, who has spent the last 14 years in either the Cayman Islands or Asia, is qualified in both the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands and has experience of large-scale commercial work and cross-border insolvency in both jurisdictions. Fleur also has extensive experience acting for out-of-court receivers together with experience in fraud and asset tracing and enforcement work (arbitral awards and foreign judgments).
