Manatt Health National Advisor Paul Irving served as Consulting Producer for and is featured in Caregiving, a new documentary by PBS, WETA and executive producer Bradley Cooper, highlighting the challenges and triumphs of caregiving in America.

The number of individuals requiring care is increasing and the work of both family caregivers and paid care workers is more important and critically needed than ever. But as they tackle the challenges, caregivers of all types and all ages often labor in isolation, experiencing loneliness, stress and impacts on their own health, financial security and sense of well-being. We can and must do more to support them. Through personal stories and experiences of caregivers and the perspective of experts, Caregiving examines both past and current efforts to address the realities of American caregiving, shining a light on a growing care crisis deserving our attention and response.

The documentary premieres on June 24, 2025 on PBS. Learn more here.
