Bolstering Carter Ledyard's Cross-Border Suite of Practices
(New York, NY, May 29, 2025) Carter Ledyard is pleased to announce the launch of a new regional, cross-border group. The Middle East-North Africa-Turkey (MENAT) Cross-Border Practice https://www.clm.com/practice/cross-border/middle-east-north-africa-and-turkey-menat/ is a group of lawyers focused on assisting clients in the region with US inbound legal matters. After years of supporting clients in cross-border matters in the region alongside our dedicated Turkey Cross-Border Practice, the Firm is committed to further extending its services to high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, family offices as well as corporations.
Judith Wallace, managing partner, said "Our ability to deploy multidisciplinary legal services to clients around the world has enabled us to be successful with our other regional practices. Our service delivery model to international clients is uniquely positioned in a competitive marketplace." In addition, John Driscoll, counsel and Chair, Turkey Cross-Border Practice, added, "Where Carter Ledyard stands apart with our MENAT practice is that we aren't competing in the saturated project finance, energy and infrastructure sectors. Rather, we will continue to focus on US inbound investment, capital markets, corporate structuring, M&A, real estate, IP, and HNW and family offices estate planning."
Several attorneys in the group are native Arabic speakers and have years of experience working in the Middle Eastern, North African and Turkish business environment and are sensitive to the business culture, building a customized approach to the delivery of legal services.
