Appleby is pleased to announce the addition of Steven Yuen to our Hong Kong office as a Legal Manager in the Dispute Resolution department, effective March 2025. Steven brings extensive experience in litigation, financial services disputes, and regulatory compliance.

Steven specialises in representing financial institutions in cross-border debt recovery and security enforcement actions, including winding-up and bankruptcy cases. He also has significant experience in regulatory investigations and compliance, having acted for clients in investigations by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission.

Before joining Appleby, Steven trained and worked at a prominent UK law firm. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, making him a valuable asset to our team and clients.

“We are excited to have Steven join our team,” said David Bulley, Hong Kong and Mainland China Managing Partner at Appleby. “His experience and language skills will greatly benefit our clients and strengthen our Dispute Resolution department.”
