We advised HarperCollins on the agreed acquisition of the lifestyle imprints Altamira, Becht, Dominicus, and Hollandia, along with associated personnel, from publisher Gottmer Uitgevers Groep (Gottmer). The acquisition will further expand HarperCollins Holland’s fast-growing position in the trade book market in the Netherlands and Belgium.

In a strategic move to strengthen their position in the Dutch and Belgian book markets, HarperCollins Holland has acquired the lifestyle imprints Altamira, Becht, Dominicus, and Hollandia from Gottmer Uitgevers Groep.

The lifestyle imprints, with a combined history of over 125 years, are leaders in their respective markets and are known for their successful authors and strong brand recognition. The addition of these imprints will expand HarperCollins Holland's non-fiction portfolio with categories such as cooking, healthy eating, spirituality, travel, and water sports.

As a leading law firm in the publishing sector, we provided tailored legal advice and the most comprehensive solutions to meet their specific needs. We thank HarperCollins Holland for their trust and pleasant collaboration.
