The Goodwin Paris Private Investment Funds team advised BEX Capital, the first investment firm focused exclusively on secondaries in private equity fund-of-funds (FoF), secondaries funds and co-investment funds, on the fundraising of BEX Fund V for a total amount of $765 million.
This marks BEX Capital's first fund raised since its management buyout in February. The fund received strong support from existing investors. and reached its target in just four months.
As with its predecessors, BEX Capital's fifth fund is solely dedicated to FoF secondaries and will make individual investments ranging from $5 million to $1 billion.
The Goodwin team was led by Sarah Michel and included Maxime Hemled, Anabelle Cornillon and Olivia Doble on fund formation aspects, Marie-Laure Bruneel on tax aspects, and Adrien Paturaud on financing aspects.
