In a recent landmark judgment by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Gayatri Balasamy v. M/s. ISG Novasoft Technologies Limited and other connected appeals, the Court addressed the contentious issue of whether courts exercising jurisdiction under Sections 34 and 37 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
