Bermuda on Investment Strategy

On 23 December 2024, the Bermuda Monetary Authority released a Consultation Paper - Proposed Enhancements to Public Disclosure Regime: Public Disclosure of Assets and Liabilities for Commercial Long-term Insurers.

Prior to 31 March 2023 an application could be made for an "Economic Investment Certificate" by non-Bermudian individuals who invested at least BM$2.5 million in the island.

All authorised and registered Bermuda investments funds having a financial year end at December 31 should be finalising their annual filings with the Bermuda Monetary Authority, which are due by June 30.
