Answer ... A number of important issues have been considered by the Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC) recently, which have shed more light on its decisional practice. Information exchange has been a recent focus of the CPC, which has demonstrated an increased rigorousness with regard to the ability of undertakings controlling a joint venture to acquire business secrets in a manner which could distort competition in the markets in which the controlling undertakings operate.
