Alex Cameron

Alex Cameron is co-leader of the firm’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Group. Clients from all sectors, including numerous Fortune 100 and 500 companies, consistently turn to Alex for his recognized leading expertise in privacy, cybersecurity and related matters.
Clients work closely with Alex to achieve business objectives through the innovative use of personal information, while ensuring compliance and managing risk. From big data projects, to marketing initiatives, to workplace management, Alex helps clients to identify and implement creative solutions to all manner of privacy issues. He also assists clients in managing compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL).

Kateri-Anne Grenier

Kateri-Anne Grenier has in-depth knowledge of issues related to access to information (federal and provincial law), privacy law and the protection of personal information. She has assisted clients in responding to multi-jurisdictional data breaches involving personal information and employee personal information, including: review of disclosure obligations, internal and external communications strategies, reporting to regulators and affected individuals, and the conduct of investigations and implementation of recommendations. She advises clients about how to mitigate risk of prosectuion following breach, including class actions, and provides practical guidance in policy review and action plans in relation to breaches.

Daanish Samadmoten

Daanish Samadmoten is a member of the firm’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Group. Daanish frequently advises clients on various privacy and cybersecurity matters by providing practical and strategic advice in respect of privacy compliance, data breach incidents, and privacy litigation.

Daanish has assisted numerous clients in addressing privacy and cybersecurity incidents, including by advising clients about their legal obligations and litigation risks, reporting to privacy regulators, working with forensic and data management experts, and drafting external communications.
