One of Australia's leading independent law firms, McCullough Robertson Lawyers, today announced a number of changes to the Executive Leadership team, including the appointment of Kristan Conlon  as Chair of Partners.

Ms Conlon takes up her position as Chair of Partners immediately, replacing Reece Walker  who has held the position of Chair since 2019 and Executive Leadership team member since 2016.

A proven leader as a senior partner and head of the Real Estate team, Ms Conlon started at McCullough Robertson as a graduate in 1998, and has been a partner since 2007. Kristan has extensive strategic leadership experience within the firm having served several terms on the Executive Leadership team, and holding various team and business unit operational leadership roles since 2013. She is Deputy Chair of yourtown, Chair of Community Housing Industry Association Qld, Vice President of the Committee for Brisbane, member of the QLS Property and Development Law Committee and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Kristan is an advocate for and has led many initiatives across innovation, and inclusion and diversity, and she recognises the significance and importance of ESG and sustainability. "Kristan is a genuine team player and always prioritises the firm's best interests, respecting its rich history but also looking to the future. She is the epitome of the firm's values of 'down to earth', 'committed', 'commercial' and 'generous', and I am excited to see her lead the firm towards its centenary and beyond" Mr Walker said.

Joining Ms Conlon as part of the Executive Leadership team is Sydney-based Digital and Technology partner Alex Hutchens, Brisbane-based Corporate partner Aaron Dahl, and existing member and Brisbane-based Tax partner David HughesDamien Clarke and Guy Humble continue as Joint Managing Partners.
