As and from 1 March 2022, Ronan Daly Jermyn will operate as a limited liability partnership. The firm will be known as Ronan Daly Jermyn LLP.
This authorization has been issued by the Legal Services Regulatory Authority. It does not change our legal status but permits the individual partners at the firm to limit their personal liability.
Subject to certain exceptions set out in the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 (section 123), the individual partners have no personal liability for any debts, liabilities or obligations which are incurred in the carrying on of the business of the limited liability partnership (whether these are liabilities of the LLP, of the partner concerned or any other partner or any employee, agent or representative of the LLP).
The limitation only relates to the personal liability of the partners. It does not in any way alter your rights of enforcement of any debt, liability or obligation against the firm itself.
From 1 March 2022, the Partnership Act 1890 continues to apply to the LLP to the extent that it is not inconsistent with Chapter 3 of Part 8 of the Act.
