Law firm Shakespeare Martineau has welcomed three new experts to its South region, including banking partner Russell Jarvis, restructuring partner Frank Bouette and restructuring and insolvency legal director Nicola Holton.

Accomplished corporate banking specialist Russell Jarvis joins the firm's London team with more than 30 years' experience and has acted for a wide spectrum of lenders including major banks, sponsors and debt funds across a wide number of sectors focusing particularly on the commercial, SME and mid-markets space.

Restructuring expert Frank Bouette has more than 17 years' experience, having previously headed up the restructuring team at EMW where he worked with a major airport, charities, large manufacturers and professional service firms across Gatwick and the South. Acting for a variety of SMEs, directors, lenders and insolvency office holders, Frank advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters, from administrations, contract terminations and exit strategies and joins Shakespeare Martineau's South region.

Insolvency expert Nicola has more than 10 years' restructuring and insolvency experience having worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from insolvency practitioners and litigation funders to corporates and their directors.  She advises on a variety of restructuring, recovery and insolvency issues and has extensive experience in contentious insolvency work. Nicola is also a qualified insolvency practitioner having obtained a first time pass in the Joint Insolvency Examination Boards in 2014.

The London trio's appointments follow a raft of announcements including  13 internal promotions six appointments in Milton Keynes and a further two in the  East Midlands.
