Mark Whitaker spoke to Managing Intellectual Property for an article covering how MoFo worked to increase focus on diversity and inclusion in 2020.

"The firm was very aggressive in putting out these programs" to help the staff deal with healing and addressing fears and concerns in the aftermath of the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, said Mark. "We did a 21-day reading and listening challenge where we put out music, books, or poetry to ensure people in the firm understood the black experience in America. That was very well received."
