Practice Chair Richard B. Levin also honored individually

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli's Financial Technology ("FinTech") and Regulation Practice has again been recognized by Chambers and Partners in its recent FinTech 2020 Guide. Polsinelli is among a select group of leading firms to be recognized.

Chambers again recognized Polsinelli FinTech and Regulation Practice Chair Richard B. Levin individually in the Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies category.

"We are proud to be recognized by our clients and Chambers as a trusted advisor in the FinTech space," said Levin. "Since the firm launched our FinTech and Regulation Practice nearly four years ago, we have seen tremendous growth driven by the confidence of our clients and the developments in the regulation of digital assets and blockchain technology. We look forward to building this momentum as our clients navigate new regulatory issues in the years to come."

Chambers rankings are based on several factors, including information obtained from client interviews, submissions put forward by law firms, as well as the organization's own database resources. Individual attorneys are ranked based on their legal knowledge and experience, ability, effectiveness and client-service in their respective practice areas.

Chambers noted Polsinelli's FinTech and Regulation Practice as, "widely recognised [for its] blockchain and cryptocurrency expertise, [and] has emerged as a leading firm on digital asset matters."

Chambers also recognized Polsinelli's FinTech and Regulation Practice "stand[s] out for their regulatory strength on innovative matters pushing the boundaries of the FinTech sector. The firm also offers top-notch advice on matters such as broker-dealer licensing and alternative trading systems."

A client who was surveyed by Chambers noted, "Before I found them I contacted at least ten different law firms who deal with the SEC, and they did not understand the technology space. Polsinelli understood the tech space right away and what we needed to do to get the regulatory approvals."

Another client noted Levin's "great relationships with regulators," and his "practical, in-depth experience that connects the legal landscape with new developments, shaping them and tailoring a business-oriented approach."

Levin joined Polsinelli in 2016 and launched the firm's FinTech and Regulation Practice, which is made up of attorneys specializing in securities, corporate, intellectual property, litigation, public policy, tax, transactional, and regulatory issues to serve clients in the FinTech space.

The practice is the publisher of one of the leading FinTech-focused blogs, Polsinelli BitBlog, which serves as a resource for individuals and firms in the industry. Through regularly produced blog content, the firm's FinTech and Regulation attorneys provide readers with a broad range of unique perspectives on the global FinTech landscape. The practice focuses on the representation of banks, investment advisers, broker-dealers, exchange and alternative trading systems, peer to peer lenders, digital currency trading platforms, and blockchain technology firms.
