New group led by Jane Reid and Rosemary Gallo brings extensive experience in complex family law matters
We are pleased to welcome new partners Jane Reid and Rosemary Gallo to the firm. Together, they will lead the firm’s Family Law Group, which includes four additional lawyers and three administrative professionals. The group will advise clients on family law matters involving complex property pision, including those involving corporate structures, business interests, trusts, multi-jurisdictional property, as well as income determinations, child and spousal support, and parenting arrangements. The Family Law Group also advises on and drafts cohabitation and marriage agreements.
The addition of a dedicated Family Law Group enhances Alexander Holburn’s ability to provide integrated legal advice to clients whose family law matters intersect with estates and trusts, health law, employment law, business law, and litigation.

Jane Reid joins the firm as a partner and leader of the Family Law Group. She has practised family law exclusively since 2004, advising on high-net-worth matters involving complex property pision, income determination, support and corporate structures. She is a certified mediator who mediates complex family law matters, a collaborative lawyer and an experienced litigator. Jane helps clients resolve matters through negotiation, mediation or court advocacy when required. She is known for her attentive, empathetic approach and practical strategies tailored to each family’s circumstances. Jane is recognized as a leading family law practitioner in British Columbia by Best Lawyers®, Lexpert and Doyle’s Guide.

Rosemary Gallo joins as a partner in the Family Law Group. She advises on family property and debt pision, income determination, child and spousal support, parenting issues, and agreements. Her practice includes financially intricate matters involving family businesses, professional practices and multi-jurisdictional property, as well as parenting and relocation.

Emma Ferguson, a partner in the firm’s Wills, Estates + Trusts and Family Law Practice Groups, advises on marriage and cohabitation agreements, corporate structures, trusts and multiple jurisdictions, drawing on previous family law litigation experience in property pision, support and parenting matters.
Manjit Grewal, a partner and senior civil litigator whose practice spans family, health, employment and insurance matters, assists family law clients with separation and porce matters involving parenting, support and property pision.
Monica Wong, an associate in the Family Law Group, assists clients with family property and debt pision, support, and parenting matters.
