Macfarlanes has advised private equity firm August Equity on the acquisition financing aspects of its investment in the Superbia Group, a leading vertically integrated financial advisory business headquartered in Leicester, representing the first institutional equity investment in the business since its formation.
Superbia advises over 2,500 clients across the UK, providing financial advice, discretionary fund management and in-house investment solutions, whilst also being a certified B Corporation and so upholding a strong commitment to ESG principles and community impact.
August Equity's investment will support Superbia's organic and inorganic growth strategy, expanding its national footprint and enhancing its client proposition.
