LAS VEGAS, NV – Brooks Kushman attorney Eric Kohli served as a judge at the 2025 Frank A. Schreck Gaming Law Moot Court Competition, held February 28 – March 1 in Las Vegas.

Kohli evaluated law students as they presented oral arguments on gaming law and regulation. He assessed their legal reasoning, advocacy skills, and ability to respond to judicial inquiries, providing direct feedback on their arguments. With over 25 years of experience in IP law, he offered insight into issues like trademark disputes, licensing, and non-compete agreements in the gaming industry.

The competition, hosted by the William S. Boyd School of Law, at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) brought together law students from across the country to sharpen their appellate advocacy skills.

Eric, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, specializes in a wide range of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and licensing. He has represented Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 clients, building a reputation for innovative problem-solving and proactive counsel.
