Kraft Foods Global, Inc. et al. v. United Egg Producers,
Inc.
"The eggs antitrust trial was very special," Brandon
said. "It took place in the federal courthouse in Chicago,
where I clerked, learned how to try cases and worked as a federal
prosecutor for several years. I knew the judge who presided over
the trial from a stint at the firm where we started after law
school."
As for the future of white-collar cases, Brandon said he believes AI will enable the government to detect irregularities leading to more investigations and allowing for quicker action in the future.
"Companies and individuals under investigation will need sophisticated counsel to be able to defend themselves," Brandon said.
