On the 8th December the sale of Melita plc ("Melita") by GMT Communications Partners ("GMT") and a consortium led by M/C Partners-led to France-based Apax Partners and Fortino Capital was announced. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities in Malta.
Melita is Malta's leading converged telecommunications operator, with more than 110,000 unique subscribers. The company offers pay-TV, broadband, fixed telephony, mobile and B2B services.
