The Data Protection Regulations, 2015 ("DPR") were enacted on 4th October, 2015. They govern the processing of any personal or sensitive personal data by organisations registered in the Abu Dhabi Global Market ("ADGM"). All organisations registered in ADGM should demonstrate compliance with the DPR or face high penalties such for any non-compliance.
