The real estate sector has not been spared by the COVID-19
pandemic, which has raised many questions with respect to the
rights and obligations of both tenants and landlords.
Over the course of this webinar, Blakes lawyers will shed light on
the various ways the pandemic has affected the commercial leasing
sector, including the question of lease payments during the
confinement period. Topics will also include contractual
adjustments that can be made in preparation for the next wave of
the current pandemic and for future pandemics. In addition, our
speakers will examine the health protection measures to be put in
place once business activities resume, including who is responsible
for these measures so as to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Speakers:
- Matthew Liben, Partner, Blakes
- Daniel Ferreira, Partner, Blakes
- Pamela Poulakis, Associate, Blakes
