FINRA proposed a change to
FINRA Rule 6433 ("Minimum Quotation Size Requirements for
OTC Equity Securities") that would extend the Tier Size Pilot
Program for OTC equity securities (i.e., unlisted equity
securities) until December 8, 2017. The pilot program, which
otherwise is set to expire on June 9, 2017, amends the rule in
order to allow examination of the effects of changes in the minimum
quotation sizes on market quality.
