USDA Announces The Re-Establishment Of The Council For Native American Farming And Ranching

In the July 6, 2016, Federal Register, the USDA
re-established the advisory Council for Native American Farming and
Ranching ("Council"). The Council "discusses issues
related to the participation of Native American farmers and
ranchers in USDA programs and transmits recommendations concerning
any changes to regulations or internal guidance or other
measure." The USDA is seeking candidates to be considered for
membership on the Council. Nominations are due August
22, 2016.
