BALTIMORE—Womble Carlyle's Baltimore office hosted the
Association for Corporate Growth Maryland's Young Professional ACG University and its
course entitled "Arranging Financing."
Attorney
Brian Meltzer coordinated the Sept. 20 class, which was the
second in the program. Instructors included Ron Kerdasha of MB
Business Capital, John Robinson of Fifth Third Bank and Greg Barger
of NewSpring Capital.
Young Professional ACG University is an educational program for
up-and-coming M&A deal makers in the Maryland community who
possess 2 or more years of experience. In its second year, the
5-part series teaches attendees the "Art of the Deal"
from sourcing through post closing. This year's class includes
20 participants. Meltzer is a graduate of the 2016 program.
