The Mauritius Revenue Authority
("MRA") has issued a communiqué on 31
March 2021 regarding submission of returns and payment of taxes.
The MRA informs that the requisite online facilities for the
electronic submission of returns and payment of taxes are available
on their website. The MRA also inter alia announced that if the
submission of returns and payment of taxes which were due for March
2021 have not been submitted or paid because of the sanitary
lockdown, then there will not be any penalty, surcharge or interest
applied by them provided that these returns and taxes are submitted
and paid on or before 30 April 2021. Please read the full
