The EU's ambitious agenda, to make ESG considerations an integral part of its financial policy, continues to gain pace. Starting 2 August, 2022, MiFID firms will have to consider customer sustainability preferences as an integral part of the suitability assessment. Later on in the year, in November 2022, product manufacturers and distributors will also need to consider sustainability preferences as a core part of their product governance process.

MiFID firms are faced with numerous questions on the practical implications of these amendments: How can I integrate sustainability preferences in my current suitability assessment processes? How do I record a client's sustainability preferences including in the suitability report? What if we presently do not offer sufficiently "green" products to match a client's sustainability preferences? What do sustainability preferences mean for product governance and related target market concepts?

Ganado Advocates' Investment Services Team are pleased to invite you to this short webinar in which we will discuss these challenges and possible solutions.
