Ganado Advocates will be sponsoring the MITC National Insurance Conference 2026, taking place on 9th October at the Xara Lodge under the theme “From Awareness to Action: Managing New Risks and Shaping the Future of Insurance”.

The conference will bring together professionals from across the insurance industry to discuss how emerging risks and technological developments are reshaping the sector, including cyber risk, artificial intelligence, automation, connected devices, climate-related exposures, data-driven underwriting and evolving regulation.

Romina Bonnici, Senior Regulatory Advisor at Ganado Advocates, will be participating as a panellist in the session “Regulation, Conduct and Professional Judgement in a Changing Risk Landscape”. The panel will explore regulatory expectations, conduct obligations, professional judgement, governance and accountability in an increasingly complex and technology-driven insurance environment.

The session will also consider the responsibilities of insurance professionals when dealing with complex products and emerging risks, including the importance of clear disclosure, fair client outcomes, responsible innovation and maintaining client trust.
