United Kingdom

We have secured strong results in the Chambers UK 2027 guide, with rankings recognising our offshore legal capabilities across Jersey, Guernsey and London.

Among the highlights, our Jersey Dispute Resolution team was promoted to Band 1, joining our Jersey Corporate & Finance team in the top tier of the rankings. Our London office also retained its Band 1 ranking for Offshore: Bermudian, British Virgin Islands & Cayman Islands Law for the eleventh consecutive year, while the guide reaffirmed the strength of our Guernsey practice with Band 1 rankings for both Dispute Resolution and Employment.

The results also include a number of individual ranking promotions and new rankings across our Jersey, Guernsey and London offices, reflecting the depth of expertise recognised across the firm. Notably, our London Managing Partner, Hughie Wong, was promoted to Eminent Practitioner.

Hughie Wong said: 'We are delighted to see our teams recognised once again in Chambers UK. These results reflect the strength and depth of our offshore offering across Jersey, Guernsey and London, as well as the quality of the advice we deliver to clients across jurisdictions, sectors and practice areas. The continued recognition of our leading teams and the progression achieved by a number of our lawyers, demonstrates the talent of our people and our continued focus on supporting clients on their most important and complex matters. We are grateful to our clients for their trust and support, and for the feedback they provide through the Chambers research process.'

The rankings are underpinned by strong client feedback across our practice areas. Clients praised Walkers as being 'commercial, solution-oriented and extremely responsive', while others described our lawyers as 'technically exceptional and most commercial at the same time'. Across the guide, clients recognised our technical expertise, market knowledge and commitment to delivering practical, solutions-focused advice on complex matters, describing our lawyers as highly knowledgeable, trusted advisers and experts in their fields.
