Partner Heather Repicky was named Intellectual Property Attorney of the Year on Oct. 8 at the 2026 New England Legal Awards, presented by Law.com. The award recognizes the IP lawyer who made the biggest mark on the region’s legal community over the past year, chosen from candidates across all six New England states.

In a Q&A with Law.com, Repicky points to a significant win in Fortress Iron, LP v. Digger Specialties, Inc., as one of her top accomplishments from the past year.

“Arguing a question no court had decided, and having the panel adopt our reading of the statute, is the kind of moment you work toward for years,” Repicky said.

As a first-chair trial lawyer, Repicky has tried patent cases to juries and argued before both the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Her cases cover medical devices, biologics and software.
