Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman partner Maria Scungio will speak at the 32nd Annual Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference at Fordham Law School (the "Fordham IP Conference"), which takes place on April 24-25. Maria will give a presentation on the topic of "Bad Fit or Just Right? Secondary Meaning for Product Shape and Color." Her presentation will, among other things, examine recent case decisions concerning secondary meaning in the context of product configuration and color trademarks. Maria will also moderate a panel discussion on the topic of Strength of a Trademark. Known as the "Davos of IP," the Fordham IP Conference has offered an important forum for leaders in government, the judiciary, academia, and the private sector around the world to meet, discuss and resolve current intellectual property issues.
