Nashville, Tenn., (April 3, 2024) – Bass, Berry & Sims is pleased to welcome two associates to its Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice: Nicole D. Blanchard in the firm's Memphis office and Gabrielle D. Degelia in the firm's Washington, D.C. office.

Blanchard represents clients in complex business litigation and government investigations. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Blanchard was an associate at Burch Porter & Johnson in Memphis. She earned a law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law (2022) and an undergraduate degree in biological science from Lee University (2018), where she also played on the women's soccer team.

Degelia advises clients in internal and government-facing investigations concerning white collar and corporate compliance matters related to allegations of securities fraud, accounting fraud, sanctions violations, use of off-channel communications, as well as violations of the False Claims Act (FCA), Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA), and other criminal and civil regulations. Degelia has represented companies and individuals in domestic and foreign matters involving the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Attorneys' Offices, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission, and other primary enforcement agencies.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, Degelia was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in its Houston, Texas, office. She earned a law degree from Duke University School of Law (2019) and an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma (2014).
