SHRM referenced Seyfarth's blog post, "Workplace Violence Prevention Plans Required For California Employers by July 2024," in its article, "California Mandates Workplace Violence Prevention Plans," on April 1. The blog post discussed the new California law which requires nearly all employers to prepare a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, train employees on how to identify and avoid workplace violence, and maintain a violent incident log by July 1, 2024.
