Mintz announces the appointment ofScott M. Stanton as Managing Member of its San Diego office. Scott is a corporate attorney with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and corporate governance matters. He succeedsDaniel Pascucci, who will focus full-time on his highly regarded litigation practice and role as Co-chair of the firm's Cross-Border Asset Recovery Practice.

As a Member in Mintz's Corporate & Securities practice since 2018, Scott has more than thirty years of experience on transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and public and private equity financings. He represents companies, boards of directors, and board committees in a wide variety of industries, including software, medical devices, life sciences, semiconductors, manufacturing, consumer products, insurance, and financial services.

Scott is regularly recognized for his professional success and contribution to the San Diego community, including being named as one of the region's "Most Influential People" by the San Diego Business Journal. He has also been recognized in Diligent's "Modern Governance 100" list and as one of the San Diego Business Journal's "Top 100 Leaders in Law." He previously served as Chair of the Board of the San Diego-based Corporate Directors Forum and is currently a member of the La Jolla Playhouse Board of Trustees where he serves as Treasurer.
