Donnelly McDowell, partner in the Washington, D.C. office, has been named chair of the firm's Advertising and Marketing practice group.

Donnelly joined Kelley Drye in 2011, and his practice focuses on all aspects of advertising and consumer protection law. Donnelly represents clients in contested matters and investigations by the FTC, the CFPB, and the FDA, as well as State AGs and district attorneys, and provides counseling in a number of specialized areas of consumer protection law, including consumer finance, food and drug law, and direct sales and network marketing compliance.

Donnelly's clients span a range of industries, including retailers, restaurants, manufacturers and distributors of FDA-regulated products and other consumer goods, financial service providers, tech and fintech companies, and direct selling and affiliate marketing companies. Donnelly succeeds Laura Riposo VanDruff, who was recently named managing partner for the Washington, D.C. office.
