CSB Group commenced the month of February with its highly anticipated annual Company Updates event, a pivotal occasion designed to communicate the accomplishments of 2023 and extending a comprehensive update to the entire team, thus fostering unity and engagement among its esteemed members. The Group is on a strong growth path, exceeding its performance from 2022 and aiming to continue this positive trend. It has already made a solid start towards achieving this goal, focusing on innovation, dedication, and determination.

Opening with a solemn mass, the event progressed with a speech from Group CEO, Michael J. Zammit praising the dedication of all team members across CSB Group and its associated brands including Malta Sotheby's International Realty, Regus Malta and VC (VacancyCentre). Additionally, directors, senior managers, and key executives delivered presentations on the performance of different business units and outlined their strategies for 2024.

During his address, Michael revealed ambitious strategies for sustained expansion, emphasising a continued focus on nurturing our existing portfolio and elevating client satisfaction to the forefront of our priorities. With a palpable sense of pride, he underscored the Group's remarkable growth and surpassing of 2022 figures, setting the stage for continued excellence and prosperity. Jean Claude Cardona, CSB Group Operations & Finance Director also extended his heartfelt thanks to the team, acknowledging their dedication and contributions. In addition to expressing gratitude, he facilitated an open dialogue by conducting an anonymous poll, allowing team members to provide valuable feedback in real-time.

The event also included the recognition of employees through the presentation of CSB Group Star and Long Service Awards, honouring outstanding performance as well as commemorating those who have been with the company for five and fifteen years. This year also marked the introduction of a new award; the Star Team Award honouring the team who surpassed the financial target with the highest margin.

The Rising Star Awards were awarded to Deborah Vella Debattista, Corporate Services Executive, Adam Balakrishnan, Payroll Officer, and Nicole Haber, Corporate Services Officer.

The Shining Star Awards were awarded to Jan Killips Wright, Senior Advisor – Regulated Industries & Compliance, Dr Kyle Scerri, Manager – Gaming & Fintech, and Luisa Rizza, Team Leader – Corporate Services.

Moreover, Andrew Shaw, Business Development Officer, Michaela Micallef, Corporate Services Assistant, Dylan Spiteri, HR Administrator and John Tabone, Dispatch Rider and Company Messenger, were awarded with a Supporting Star Award. Long Service Awards were presented to Julie Camilleri Mintoff, Manager – Corporate Services, Simon Pace, VC Senior Recruitment Consultant, Francesca Caruana, Manager – Client Accounting and Matthew Mizzi, Accounts Executive II, each marking a commendable 5-year tenure and Jacqueline Micallef, Credit Controller, was honoured for an impressive 15-year tenure.

The Star Team Award was awarded to the Immigration Team comprising Malcolm Ferrante, Senior Manager – Immigration & Relocation and Michela Pace, Investment Migration Officer.
