Williams, senior counsel in the firm's Dallas office, has received the 2023 Luna Award for Business Advocate of the Year from the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association (RHCA). Tracey was honored at RHCA's prestigious Luna Awards Luncheon in Dallas earlier this month. This award recognizes an individual or company that advocates for the inclusion of women in construction, architecture, engineering, and business in the North Texas area.

Upon receiving her award, she stated, "Honored to be nominated for a Luna Award, floored to walk away with the award for Business Advocate of the Year. Not sure how I earned it, but I am more committed than ever to helping women succeed in construction."

About Tracey L. Williams

Tracey is a skilled litigator and has successfully represented contractors, developers, owners and subcontractors in Texas and Oklahoma during all phases of the construction process and thereafter. She assists clients in managing project risk through effective contractual risk allocation and counsels clients in construction matters involving contract disputes, mechanic's and materialman's liens, bond claims, construction defects, and other construction-related claims. In addition to construction law, Tracey has extensive experience in creditor's rights and commercial collections.

Tracey received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated cum laude. She earned her law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, now known as the Texas A&M University School of Law, where she served as managing editor of Law Review.

The Regional Hispanic Contractors Association formerly the Hispanic Contractors Association of DFW "was formed in 1995 to address the needs of one of the fastest-growing sectors of the construction industry."
