Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC is proud to share that five attorneys have been named to the 2023 Texas Rising Stars list. Honorees include Jaime DeWees, Demetri Economou, Kiara Gradney, John Kane, and Michael Twomey.

These attorneys demonstrate the wide-ranging legal services Kane Russell Coleman Logan provides, including corporate, litigation, bankruptcy and employment law. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor.

Jaime DeWees focuses her practice on real estate and commercial litigation matters. She manages complex cases, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings, from inception to resolution in state and federal forums across the country. This is Jaime's fourth year being selected to Texas Rising Stars.

Demetri Economou is co-chair of the Firm's Energy, Oil and Gas industry team. He advises general counsel and business leaders in the energy industry and represents energy and non-energy clients in restrictive covenant and unfair employment practices lawsuits. He tries cases in state and federal courts and before administrative bodies. He has been named to the Texas Rising Stars list every year since 2017.

Kiara Gradney represents clients in various areas, including civil litigation matters, oil and gas, real estate, personal injury, construction and parallel proceedings. This is her first year being named to the Texas Rising Stars list.

John Kane has been recognized on the Texas Rising Stars list for nine consecutive years. He practices in the Firm's Chamber's-rated Bankruptcy Section and has considerable experience representing clients in all facets of bankruptcy, including significant creditors committees representation in multiple states. John also serves on the Firm's Board of Directors.

Michael Twomey represents businesses in employment and commercial matters, including data privacy issues as well as the protection of sensitive commercial data. He is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been named a Texas Rising Star since 2014.
