Commitment to the Community
Pallett Valo celebrates 75 years of serving its clients and the community by partnering with the Mississauga Food Bank, a network of over 50 agencies that distribute food for over five million meals each year to vulnerable children, seniors, families, and neighbours in Mississauga.
Since its inception in 1948, Pallett Valo has supported many meaningful not-for-profit organizations, charity groups and community agencies. The firm's partners, lawyers and support team donate their time, resources, and talent to various causes.
75 years of dedication and achievement
Our firm remains a large full-service law firm in Ontario. Readers of Canadian Lawyer magazine have voted Pallett Valo as one of Ontario's Top 10 Regional Law Firms in seven consecutive surveys and The Globe and Mail ranked us one of Canada's Best Law Firms for 2023 in the Corporate & Commercial category.
Our lawyers are consistently ranked in The Best Lawyers in Canada, recognized in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, in Lexology as legal influencers, and this year our long-time partner Anne Kennedy received the Peel Law Association Lifetime Achievement Award.
Not only do our lawyers receive recognition for their achievements, but they are also leaders in the community and in the legal profession. Seven of our lawyers serve in various roles in the Ontario Bar Association and many hold leadership positions in other associations. Even those who leave the firm move on to greater things. Like Alex Ilchenko, now an Associate Judge at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Its mission is to end hunger in Mississauga by providing and promoting access to healthy and appropriate food. We're looking forward to partnering with them through volunteer and financial support over the next year and beyond.
